Jim Wright is an Associate Professor in Geography and Environment, University of Southampton. Jim’s research focuses on public health and water safety in developing countries, particularly sub-Saharan Africa. He is particularly interested in monitoring safe water access and interventions that can deliver safer domestic water.
He has previously worked with VIRED International on the Groundwater2030 project, which looked at long-term changes in groundwater quality and use in urban Kisumu.
