Managing the safety of rural water supplies in Sub-Saharan Africa is essential for public health, as is reducing disease transmission from livestock to humans.

The project study site is in Siaya County, Kenya. Under Kenya’s devolved governance structure, Siaya is one of 47 counties, each with their own county government.

In Remembrance of Professor Huw Taylor (1963-2017)

 
It is with our deep regret and profound sadness to inform the passing away of the much admired and valued member of the OneHealthWater project, Emeritus Professor Huw Taylor of Microbial Ecology at University of Brighton, who peacefully left us on Saturday 14th October 2017. We extend our sincere condolences to his family.
