Jessica Floyd

I am a PhD student at the University of Southampton, and my research focuses on the mapping ofhuman and livestock population movement patterns to study zoonotic disease transmission risk in Kenya. I am supervised by Dr Nicola Wardrop, Professor Andy Tatem and Dr Nick Ruktanonchai. I hold a Masters degree in One Health from the Royal Veterinary College and London School of Hygiene& Tropical Medicine. Before starting my PhD I was a research assistant in the Department of Infectious Disease Epidemiology at Imperial College London, working on mathematical modelling of infectious diseases including pneumonia and malaria.
